Woman, 23, has replaced her teeth with dentures after losing them to meth addiction
A 23-year-old had to learn how to smile again after losing all her teeth in a six-year battle with addiction – and now she’s beaming thanks to perfect dentures.
Faith Hill, a Missouri social media influencer who became addicted to meth when she was just 14, has been sober for two years since quitting her addiction in July 2020.
But addiction stole Faith’s smile as the habit left her with only 14 rotting teeth left in her mouth.
In August 2021, Faith underwent surgery to have them removed and her new teeth were fitted in November of the same year.
Faith realized she needed to learn to smile again after being so used to keeping her mouth closed to hide her decaying teeth.

Now rocking a new set of teeth, she says her journey has made her a stronger person.
Faith said, “I didn’t have any usable teeth, so I decided to have them all pulled out and ended up edentulous.
“Seeing myself with dentures for the first time was so shocking. I had to practice smiling since it was so long ago.
“I didn’t know how to move my mouth. Now I look back at my addiction self and I don’t recognize her. I am a completely different person now.”
Faith realized she needed to get her life back on track after being addicted to meth for six years.
“It wasn’t normal life,” she said. “I hardly went outside and lived in hotels or even wandered the streets looking for a place to stay.”

She had the remaining teeth removed before removing them with dentures paid for by a friend

But after going to rehab to sober up, Faith decided she wanted to do something about her teeth.
“They were terrible,” she said. “I hadn’t smiled in years because of my teeth.”
Faith applied for a stipend to help fund the surgery to remove the reamed teeth, and a friend on Facebook offered to pay for her first set of teeth.
She added: “When I first saw myself with teeth again, it was so surreal.
“My friend was kind enough to pay for them and just said, ‘I just want you to smile again in return’.
However, the dental treatment (pictured) completely transformed Faith’s appearance and boosted her confidence

Smiling: Her new teeth, along with the experience of struggling through tough times, have transformed Faith (pictured) into a new person who says she’s “not the person I was now when I was addicted”.
“Now I have an even better new set that gives me so much confidence. Now I love to smile.’
Faith wants to break the stigma that surrounds young people and dentures.
She said: “People think it’s just old people with dentures. But many young people have them for many different reasons.
“I had dentures fitted just after my 22nd birthday and I want to get them normalized. I want to break open this box that surrounds dentures.
“I’m not the person I was when I was addicted.”
