The campaign for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released on October 20th, and while both old and returning players can experience the campaign, many are wondering when it will move to other multiplayer modes and most notably Warzone 2, the sequel from the original game released in 2020.

Warzone 2 will be officially released on November 16th, 27 days after the release of Modern Warfare 2’s campaign. The starting map of Warzone 2 will be Al Mazrah, a map with 18 different POIs for players to explore to their heart’s content. A new map, Las Almas, is also said to be the next Warzone map from a reputable leaker, although this information comes without official sources.
This short time span between Warzone 2 and the Modern Warfare 2 campaign will give players ample time to experience the reimagined story of one of Call of Duty’s most popular games.
