The body of an 18-year-old Queensland woman has been found in bushland and police are charging a 19-year-old man with murder.
The couple, who are known to each other, met in a car park in Strathpine, north of Brisbane, on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The Petrie woman did not return home, prompting her family to raise concerns.

Police tracked down the Kallangur man at a petrol station in Nambour, about an hour’s drive north of Strathpine, on Saturday night.
The woman’s body was found overnight in the Nambour bushveld and the man has since been charged with murder and transporting a body.
He is expected to appear before Magistrates Court in Maroochydore on Monday.
Detectives have urged witnesses to come forward when they found a white Ford Mustang between 4pm and 6pm on Bells Pocket Road, Strathpine and between 6pm and 8.30pm on Park Road, Nambour, on Saturday from 2016 near Rob Ackers Sports Reserve.
They are also urging people to contact police if they see a blue 2012 Mazda 3 near the Rob Ackers Sports Reserve between 4pm and 6pm.
