A resurfaced video of Tom Sandoval auditioning as a model for 2000s reality show The Hills has gone viral amid his cheating scandal.
The 38-year-old reality TV personality was recently exposed for having an illicit affair with 28-year-old Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss.
The explosive revelation ended his nine-year relationship with 37-year-old Ariana Madix and angered a number of other cast members who sided with his ex-girlfriend.
And a recent Instagram video showing one of Sandoval’s cameo appearances from 2006 poked fun at the dramatic developments, saying: “Imagine knowing that this random guy is one of the biggest scandals in history would cause by Bravo.”

In the resurfaced clip from Season 1 Episode 8, which aired in 2006, Sandoval makes a cameo that leaves something to be desired – and Lauren Conrad seems less than impressed
In the clip, posted to Instagram by Bravo By Betches, Sandoval can be seen auditioning for MTV’s The Hills.
The hit series, which ran for six seasons, followed “a privileged group of beautiful people who live in Los Angeles and navigate the ups and downs of their friendships, careers and romances.”
And in the resurfaced clip from Season 1, Episode 8, which aired in 2006, Sandoval has a cameo that leaves something to be desired.
During the episode, The Hills star Lauren Conrad and her colleague Whitney Port – who were working for Teen Vogue at the time – were instructed by their boss Lisa Love to do a model audition for an upcoming issue of the magazine, which Sandoval also attended.
The viral clip shows him sitting in just his swim trunks in front of a panel of judges – including Lauren.
The wannabe star looks relaxed as he leans back and rests his arms casually on the chair.
The original audio is not discernible, but other renditions have revealed the extent of the conversation.
A member of the casting team first asks Sandoval, “How long have you been in LA?”
Other social media users were also quick to share their own thoughts, calling his appearance a “jump scare.”

Sandoval replies that he’s been at it “about six months or so” before being asked if he likes it, to which he gives a somewhat lackluster reply, saying, “Yeah, it’s definitely cool.”
Pressing him even more, the interviewer asks if he came out to “act, model, the whole thing.”
And Sandoval once again shows little panache as he admits, ‘Yeah, pretty much right.’ That and music.’
The scene repeatedly cuts back to Lauren Conrad’s face, who doesn’t look impressed at all by the auditioner.
The clip captioned a caption that read, “Imagine knowing in 2006 that this random guy from a model audition for The Hills would eventually spark one of the biggest scandals in Bravo history.”
And other social media users were quick to voice their own thoughts.
One wrote: “Knowing that this man is at the center of a scandal of this magnitude is AMAZING.”
Another added: “Lauren Conrad looks like she knows something is wrong LOL.”
And a third said: “I rewatched The Hills this weekend and forgot he was in it and it was a total jump fright.”
