A few weeks after the Redmi A1 was released in India, the company gave it a mid-life upgrade called the Redmi A1+. This is the second smartphone in the Redmi A1 series from the company. Redmi A1+ comes in two different versions: one with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage costs Rs 7,499, and the other has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and costs Rs 8,499. The Redmi A1+ will go on sale in India on October 17 at noon via Flipkart, mi.com, mi Home, and retail stores. It will come in black, light green, and light blue colours.
As part of its Diwali offer, the company is giving a discount on the Redmi A1+ until October 31. During this sale, the Redmi A1+ with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage will cost Rs 6,999. Redmi A1+ with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will cost Rs 7,999.
Redmi A1+ specifications
Most of the Redmi A1specs +’s are the same as those of the Redmi A1. The Redmi A1+ comes with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB storage. Which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 512GB. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chip.
The Redmi A1+ has a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1600720 pixels. A standard refresh rate of 60Hz, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a “waterdrop notch.” It works right out of the box with stock Android 12 Go edition.
The Redmi A1+ has a dual camera setup on the back, with an 8MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
The phone has a 3.5mm jack for headphones, a fingerprint scanner on the back, and VoLTE calling. A 5,000mAh battery that can charge at 10W keeps the lights on. The company says that the Redmi A1+ can stay charged for two days.
