Pokémon GO Taipei Safari Zone: Exploration Challenge

Pokémon GO’s Taipei Safari Zone is finally here. Trainers who come to Taipei’s Da’an Forest Park will enjoy exclusive Special Research, an increased chance of catching a Shiny Extended Incense, an Event Medal, and much more. However, to celebrate the launch of the weekend-long event, there are exploration challenges that players from around the world can freely access. This limited-time study is available from Saturday, October 22 at 8:00 am local time to Sunday, October 23 at 8:00 pm local time.
Celebrate the launch of the Safari Zone event in New Taipei City by completing a free, limited-time research available worldwide! Complete it for an encounter with the Winged Fish Pokémon Finneon.

The last Safari Zone took place in Goyang, South Korea at the end of September. Its Exploration Challenges rewarded encounters with the Perfume Pokémon Squirt along with Stardust and XP.
This month’s Safari Zone Exploration Challenges focus on the Wing Fish Pokémon Finneon. This Generation 4 Pokémon’s best moves include Water Gun and Ice Beam. Although Finneon may not prove to be the strongest advantage in battle, Finneon can evolve into a more powerful Lumineon for 50 Candy.
Like last month, these exploration challenges require players to explore to earn encounters with Finneon. To access the Safari Zone: Taipei Timed Research challenges, go to the Today View category found on the app’s Events page. For players unsure of where to start, here is an additional guide to explore.
Players should note that each subsequent encounter with Finneon increases the likelihood of a Shiny spawning. When the exploration challenge is fully completed, players will receive an additional 1,000 XP and 1,000 Stardust
