Texas police rushed to the hospital on North Beckley Avenue just before noon after calls were received about a shooting at the medical facility.
Police told WFAA that the suspect was shot by a Methodist Police officer and taken into custody.
Law enforcement sources told the local outlet that the two victims are believed to be nurses from the hospital, who police found near the hospital’s birthing and delivery area.

A hospital spokesman confirmed the medical center would be hosting a tour of the new Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center for breast cancer survivors less than an hour before the shooting.
