Proud parents LeBron and Savannah James beamed at their eldest son Bronny’s graduation on Thursday, where the 18-year-old’s girlfriend was mysteriously absent after days of online racial slurs.
Bronny came under the scrutiny of fanatics on social media after photos from his prom emerged showing the USC basketball player-to-be alongside his white date, 19-year-old Peyton Gelfuso.
Despite the vile attacks, Bronny ignored his critics on Thursday as he walked the stage in Chatsworth, California to receive his diploma.
LeBron and Savannah couldn’t hide their excitement. After the Lakers’ loss of the season to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, LeBron could be seen grinning from ear to ear and wrapping his arms around Bronny and his other son, Bryce. Meanwhile, Savannah, LeBron’s high school sweetheart, was seen falling for Bronny while she was adjusting his dress and sash.
Elder James commemorated the occasion on Instagram, urging Bronny to “keep flying high.”

Two videos of Bronny at the ceremony were also shared on the Team James family’s Instagram account.
He beamed as he walked across the school’s soccer field and smiled as he took the stage during the ceremony.

The important moment came days after he was preparing for his senior prom before he would play college basketball next season.
In photos shared on Instagram by his mother, Savannah James, the NBA icon’s eldest son looked handsome in an all-black suit as he headed to the prom in California.
The 1.90 meter tall security guard wore a tailored black Chrome Hearts suit and Dior shoes for the occasion.
The jacket featured Chrome Hearts’ custom heart design on the front, back and cuffs, as well as a white one on the outseam of the pants. Bronny chose to go shirtless under the designer jacket.
Bronny appeared to be present with his alleged girlfriend Peyton Gelfuso, 19, who shone in a strapless black satin gown.
Gelfuso, who wore her long, blonde locks down her back in loose curls, reportedly previously attended Sierra Canyon High School.

Bronny left his mother speechless as she proudly shared on Instagram photos of her son posing in front of the family home, even in front of a black Porsche.
Savannah, who also shares son Bryce, 15, and daughter Zhuri, 8, with LeBron, 38, captioned the post “Prom 2023” with black heart emojis on either side.
According to her Instagram bio, Gelfuso seems to split her time between Los Angeles and Dallas as she attends Southern Methodist University (SMU), where she is a member of the Tri Delta sorority.
Last year, Bronny also attended prom with Gelfuso, but this year he faced vile racial abuse for taking a white girl to his high school prom after sharing pictures of the happy couple.
Some people online weren’t happy with his decision to take someone with “fair skin” to prom, and social media was soon flooded with a slew of nasty comments about the couple.
“Not yet a white woman,” one person wrote, while another added, “Well the positive is LeBron has more kids. Maybe they’ll do better.”
“This girl is whiter than white Bruh,” said another.
A fourth tweet read, “Should have had a black queen like his dad,” with an angry face emoji.
“I lost another black king to a greedy white girl,” tweeted another Twitter user. “Bron needs to do better at SMH.”
Someone else branded her a “gold digger” and quoted the lyrics from the Kanye West song “Gold Digger,” while others simply shared GIFs and memes expressing their disappointment at his date choice.

Bronny has received scholarship offers from USC, Memphis, and Ohio State, while generating interest from Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Oregon.
LeBron previously announced his intention to play alongside his son in the NBA but made headlines this week when he hinted at his retirement after the Lakers lost in the playoffs.
