Laura began her volleyball career when she started her training at 13 years old, and she played for the team. Laura when speaking about her athletic nature, she said she hoped to be an NBA player and also play basketball for teams. she also said that she was a part of her primary team and was to be a part of the NBA and play there as an NBA woman. Laura said that this was the most important goal of her life. She stated she was determined to think about her goals while believing that she could accomplish something with her life. Laura said that she wished to do something with basketball, but she also was devoted to volleyball from an in her life.
Laura was fascinated by basketball, but she was always looking to experiment with new things. Laura began to develop an enthusiasm for volleyball when her sister Bella played Volleyball and she was three years younger than her. Laura began playing volleyball and began playing after three years of being a part of the Carmel, Indiana workforce, Laura when talking about her early days stated that she was a sucker to play volleyball using the equipment used in basketball, however, she had a competitive nature within her that pushed her through her workout. Laura stated to explain her past, she had basketball shorts as well as a Stephen curry shirt, which she wore knee pads and was convinced that she could progress through it.

Laura began her career as an mid-blocker in her freshman year and later she switched to setter for twelve months. Following that she re-entered the sport and joined the Munciana volleyball club and was able to start as a scavenger , and later defender positions, as well. Laura her energy and speed attracted the attention of other coaches, and helped her achieve more recognition and ability within the sport. Laura has been is invited to join the team of Wisconsin and when she was asked about the matter, she stated that she had never would have wanted to be the center of attention, however she received an email telling her she was selected to play in their national championships and Wisconsin has invited her to participate and said that she was thrilled about the opportunity.
