Launch Ola S1 Air cheapest scooter in India.

Ola Electric has introduced the Ola S1 Air, their most economical electric scooter in India. In order to undercut the Ola S1 cheapest scooter, the new S1 Air has major modifications. The Bengaluru-based startup’s new e-scooter, the S1 Air, appears to have been designed with a focus on reducing costs, and the S1 Air appears to take the bare-bones approach in order to reach fantastic pricing. Ola S1 Air pricing, availability

The Ola S1 Air is the cheapest Ola Electric product in the country, priced at Rs 79,999. (ex-showroom). The offer is unfortunately only good for a short time, after which the scooter’s price will increase to Rs 84,999.

Ola Electric asserts that deliveries will commence in the first part of 2023.

Specifications of the Ola S1 Air

The Ola S1 Air retains a significant portion of its original appearance at first glance, but has undergone major redesign. The floorboard is now level, and the trunk capacity under the seat has decreased from 36 to 34 litres. The lower portion of the bodywork is now comprised of unpainted plastic, and the grab grips have been replaced with a cheaper-to-manufacture single-piece tubular unit. The seat has also been altered to be easier on the eyes.

Under the hood of the Ola S1 Air is a smaller 2.5 kWh battery pack that takes 4 hours and 30 minutes to fully charge. The motor produces 4.5kW of peak power and is capable of propelling the scooter from 0 to 40km/h in 4.3 seconds and up to 85km/h. The Ola S1 Air has a range of 101 kilometres per charge.

Ola Electric has removed the more advanced ride modes from the Ola S1 Air electric scooter, leaving only Eco, Normal, and Sports. Surprisingly, the S1 Air retains the 7-inch TFT touchscreen and will ship with the most recent Move OS 3.0 software. It will continue to provide functions such as reverse mode, hill-hold, and user profiles.

The S1 Air is also equipped with less expensive pressed steel wheels with a unique design. Additionally, the scooter is equipped with twin telescoping front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The S1 Air is equipped with drum brakes on both ends. The S1 Air weighs 99 kilogrammes, which is significantly lighter than the S1 and S1 Pro.
