Ed Sheeran, Shaquille O’Neal, Brad Pitt and Apple CEO Tim Cook lead the star names at the US Grand Prix

The stars were in force in Austin on Sunday as thousands of Formula One fans descended on the Circuit of the Americas for a high-octane United States Grand Prix.

Brad Pitt, Ed Sheeran, Shaquille O’Neal and Apple CEO Tim Cook were all trackside for the F1 race to see Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen go head-to-head on the track.

It was a complete sell-out for the public as well, as hundreds of thousands descended on the Austin circuit throughout the race weekend as F1 fever continued to mount in the US.

Legendary Oscar-nominated actor Pitt was in attendance throughout the weekend and was photographed in the Mercedes garage on Sunday, where he greeted good friend Hamilton alongside Apple CEO Cook.

Pop star Sheeran, meanwhile, was on the circuit after appearing in front of the Austin crowds after Saturday’s qualifying session and spoke to Sky’s Martin Brundle on the grid ahead of the race.
