Miami Heat’s Caleb Martin shoves a Raptors player into the stands, sparking a mass brawl – before both players are ejected
During the Miami Heat’s 112-109 win over the Toronto Raptors, the benches cleared as a brawl spilled into the front row of the crowd.
It all started at 7:46 in the third quarter as Caleb Martin and Christian Koloko battled for a rebound after a missed 3-pointer from Toronto’s Pascal Siakam.
Martin was called out for a foul in the game, Koloko landed on the ground and Martin stepped towards him as the Raptors rookie quickly jumped to his feet.
Within seconds, Martin and Koloko were tangled again. Martin seemed to push Koloko into the seats, which tipped over. Players from both teams rushed to this spot, which was only a few yards short of the heat bench.

Play was suspended for a few minutes while the referees reviewed play, giving teams time to mop up a large amount of spilled drinks and clean up the area.
Martin and Koloko were both called out for technical problems in addition to throw-outs.
“There were a lot of plays leading up to it,” Martin said. ‘It was a lively game.’
Koloko said: “I just stood up for myself and I’m getting kicked out. That’s what happened.’
Toronto coach Nick Nurse said he expects the NBA to take a longer look at what’s happening.
‘There were several people in that thing who probably shouldn’t have been,’ said Nurse.

For the game itself, Jimmy Butler scored 24 points, Max Strus added 20 from the bench and Kyle Lowry had 17 against his former team.
Tyler Herro had 14 and Bam Adebayo added 10 for the Heat – who squandered much of a 24-point lead before holding on.
“When the result ends like this, I love all the emotions and experiences,” said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra.
Pascal Siakam and Gary Trent Jr. each scored 23 points for Toronto, which received 18 points and 11 rebounds from former Heat forward Precious Achiuwa. OG Anunoby scored 13 points and Scottie Barnes added 11 for Toronto.
