And troubled AFL star Ben Cousins looked happy and healthy as he took his “mini-me” daughter Angelique to Channel Seven’s annual Perth Telethon over the weekend.
The 44-year-old beamed as he joined other celebrities and notables to take calls to raise money for 50 beneficiaries including Perth Children’s Hospital.

Looking fit, healthy and tanned, the former footy player showed off his bulging biceps in a navy T-shirt.
He was seen having a sweet and silly exchange with his little girl at the charity event had a giggle with a giddy looking Julie Bishop.
The former foreign secretary looked typically glamorous, dressed in cream trousers teamed with a black blazer, Louis Vuitton diamond earrings and a designer handbag.
Supercars Sports host Riana Crehan and The Bachelor star Locky Gilbert also lent their star power to the event.

Cousins is said to be focusing on rebuilding his relationship with his daughter and her older brother Bobby after he finally got sober.
Last year, Susan Backshell, who has been mentoring cousins since his last stint in prison, told Daily Mail Australia that he remains focused solely on his children.
Sitting in a cold, cramped prison cell for the sixth time in 13 years, Cousins decided enough was enough after seven months behind bars in 2020.
He told her he wanted to make amends and clean up his life. Ms. Backshell gave him an ultimatum: “Give it all or forget it.”

Since Cousins was released from custody in December 2020, Ms Backshell says she has never questioned his commitment to sobriety and the betterment of his community.
Ms Backshell said Cousins now has his children one weekend and is always looking for new ways to connect with them.
“His kids are everything to him, he’s really a great dad. He’s phenomenal,” said Ms Backshell.
Cousins continued to transform his life after finally getting sober
Cousins often takes the kids outside to explore the great outdoors, teaching them how to kayak, horseback ride, and embrace the great outdoors.
“They worship him. You are also very athletic, like him. They’re like little mini-me’s. You have his determination. I see a lot of him in them.’
Ben won the Brownlow Medal in 2005 and captained the West Coast Eagles from 2001-05, securing four of the club’s top and fairest honors in those seasons.

His dramatic fall from grace has been well documented since 2007, when he was publicly battling a drug addiction and coping with his failed relationship with Maylea Tinecheff.
Cousins made 238 appearances and scored 205 goals for the West Coast Eagles, where he won the Premier League with the club in 2006.
He was later fired and suspended from the AFL for a year for repeated violations.
