Romanian-born Iansoi attempted suicide in his cell. Because he “devastated by feelings of sorrow” for the horror he had committed. A few days after awakening from a coma, the man is said to have commented, “I did everything by myself to punish myself.” After the occurrence on October 6, he was moved to the reanimation section of Venice’s Dell’ Angelo Hospital, where he is said to recovering.

A Suspected Husband Who Killed His Wife

Lilia, who died with him, was a licenced Moldovan caregiver. In 2017, the pair relocated to Italy. Allegations indicate that Iansoi physically assaulted Lilia three times. On September 22, the 35-year-old snatched a kitchen knife and repeatedly stabbed the woman in the chest and stomach in retribution for her desire for a divorce. Lilia unfortunately passed away instantly.

Iansoi afterwards admitted to the police what he had committed. After his four-year-old reportedly told detectives, “Mother fell,” he detained and charged with murder with premeditation. Ianosi’s defence, according to his counsel, will be based on a mental exam showing that he was not himself on the day of the murder.
