13 victims come forward after Texas hospital janitor is accused of peeing in bottled water
More than a dozen victims have come forward after a Texas woman accused a janitor of peeing in employees’ water bottles, which was caught on video.
The Houston mother-of-two, 54, who asked not to be identified, discovered the horrific events when she contracted a sexually transmitted disease, prompting her to install a camera at the doctor’s office where she worked.
Lucio Diaz, 50, reportedly stuck his genitals about “halfway” into her drink before “tipping the bottle back and basically rinsing his penis in my water,” the woman told ABC 13.
Diaz faces charges of indecent assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on $75,000 bail. Both allegations relate to the same victim.
Now that 13 victims have come forward, investigators say additional charges are possible.

The woman – who asked not to be identified – who works at a doctor’s office where he was a janitor, became suspicious in August after the office’s water dispenser appeared to be dirty and emitting a foul smell.
“This person is a sick man,” she said.
“I want this to go to court. I want him exposed for who he is and I want him to pay for what he did to me and then be deported.”
The woman said she started bringing in her own water afterwards but would leave it on her desk if she didn’t finish it.
A few days after the foul-smelling water dispenser, she noticed her leftover water bottle smelled just as disgusting, so she threw it away.
The clerk (pictured) also accused him of peeing in her water and soiling the office water dispenser in various incidents in August and September. She was also diagnosed with an incurable sexually transmitted disease, consistent with Diaz’s findings
The employee, who asked not to be named, installed surveillance cameras in her office and caught him inserting his cock into her water bottle, then tipping it back to rinse his private part in the water
In September, a colleague offered to make her coffee and when told to use the water from her bottle, her colleague asked why the contents were yellow.
She said she immediately felt “disgusted” when she tried to smell it, telling KHOU 11, “I put it to my face, sniffed it and it smelled like urine.”
Another employee told her that the same thing had happened to her and the doctor assumed it was from the caretaker.
By the end of September, she had installed spy cameras in her office to confirm her suspicions. Surveillance video showed the janitor in the act and a urinalysis taken at her office confirmed her worst fears, according to court documents seen by ABC 13.
“I was very, very scared and I was like, ‘What if he has a disease?’ After undergoing an STD test, the mother of two received even more bad news.
“I found out I had an STD, which he also tested positive for,” she told ABC 13. “He gave me an STD that I will have for the rest of my life. Nothing will change it. Nothing will make it better for me. In fact, I feel like I have to be careful for the rest of my life.
The alleged victim claimed that Diaz continued to work in the building after management was notified.
After the urinalysis, the victim gave police two water bottles. After confronting Diaz, he confessed to police that he did it with “malicious intent” and that it was a “disease.”
He also admitted to doing something similar at his previous job, unaware he had an STD.
Her attorney, Kim Spurlock, has filed a lawsuit against the building, telling ABC 14, “You have a duty to protect your tenants and you have failed in that duty completely.”
The building’s owner, Altera Fund Advisors, responded with a statement from CEO Terry Quinn, which said: “Our management company immediately cooperated with the police on this matter as soon as we were made aware of this potential issue by our tenant. They were instructed by the police not to alert or approach the alleged perpetrator so that he could be arrested. He was arrested when he returned to the building.’
